This is a project for vocational school and my first attempt doing a REAL TRADITIONAL manga. I've re-drawn a page of Pitaten (a great Manga of Koge-Donbo), but just with my own Characters.
Damn, this was such a hard work with all thoses sketching, inking... and to cut those damn screentone things, which are used to make transitions and effects in manga. It was fun to draw this, but so incredibly hard and it took 4 damn hours (with some rest periods). I admire every Manga-ka, who uses this traditional media. Das ist ein Projekt für die Berufsschule und mein erster Versuch einen ECHTEN und TRADITIONELLEN Manga zu machen. Ich habe eine Seite aus dem manga Pitaten (einen klasse Manga von Koge-Donbo), nur mit meinen eigenen Charaktern. Mann, das war so krass harte Arbeit, mit den ganzen Skizzen, tuschen... und den verdammten Rasterfolien auszuschneiden, die in Manga für die Hintergründe oder graustufen verwendet werden. Es hatte echt Spaß gemacht, aber es ist wirklich unglaublich kompliziert und ich hab wirklich etwa 4 Stunden daran gesessen! (mit kleinen Pausen zwischendurch) Ich bewundere jetzt jeden Manga-ka, der einen Manga mit diesen traditionellen Medien erstellt. Ist is so wie die Bilder in einem Geschäft abgeben oder selbst entwicken.
Im Geschaäft ist so schön einfach und bequem, aber man sollte sie wenigstens einmal selbst entwickelt haben, das ist cool.
